I love basting spray - it saves my hands and holds very well. I use the Sullivan's brand as it is cheaper then sulky and goes farther for me - I do not have a problem getting it smooth and if you heat it with an iron you are able to make it work again should you have to leave it for a few weeks and it comes undone. It is a great adhesive for basting any size quilt - I spray it on the fabric not the batting... I first do the back and then turn it over - smooth the fabric out - then lay the top on and do it... no more worries about wrinkles in my backings while I am quilting... Love the stuff!!!
basting spray saves a lot of time. especially on smaller quilts. basting by hand takes hours. i can spray baste a quilt in under an hour. gini
