Oh ... forgot to mention I am sipping on a fruit smoothie --- so easy to make. I just take some vanilla Almond milk, and mix in the frozen strawberries, blueberries and a bit of frozen banana - put it all in the blender and it makes for a nice icy treat! Perfect for these hot summer afternoons. :)

Hi everyone, hi Liz ... Loved seeing the pictures of the picnic quilt entries so far .... they sure are gorgeous! It's so hot here in OH that even our dog Murphy doesn't want to go out on the deck for fear of burning his paws. Guess that means we truly ARE experiencing the "dog days of summer." :)

I am a newer quilter, and I just completed my second quilt (with binding, too!) I had read about this little gizmo - the Kwik Klip - that helps close the pins. Well, I purchased one, and it was definitely worth the investment. I have to say, that I certainly used my trusty little seam ripper quite a bit as well, but it is not a turbo-charged model

Dear Spud, It's so good to hear from you directly - but sure wish you were not having such a difficult time with your treatments.
