Debbie - thanks for sharing your quilts. They are all so different but the fabric and patterns pair up so well. May they provide comfort to those in need. Nothing feels better than making something for those less fortunate then us. Have a blessed Christmas! Monica

Thanks for posting all your beautiful quilts and projects. I can not believe how busy everyone has been. I have been too busy with other things to get much time in my sewing room these days. Hopefully this weekend will be quiet and I can slip away and 'play' for a while. Merry Christmas! Monica

Judi - here is a link to the pattern. It is $40. That is a little steep for me. Dido for Monica - I would love to know the pattern so I could try to make it. Might be a little more time intensive then I should tackle but would love to give it a shot sometime.

Weezee - love the alphabet quilt - how clever and adorable. Is it all appliqued fabrics?

  • Christmas tree pillow

First attempt at pillow piping. Not great but do like the finished look. Also found a pillow finishing tip. Like how much cleaner the pillow backing is with the zipper.

Thank-you for the comments back. I am pleased with they way they are coming together. I got the idea from a Bernina Facebook post . Purchase a new Bernina 750 QE and wanted something simple to play with accent stitching (I have a hard time practicing with no end project in mind). So thought a little homemade gift was the perfect excuse :-) Need to finish
