  • First Quilt

I decided to make my first quilt for myself and chose the colors of my bedroom. I also chose fabric that has small butterflies in it as well as the quilting pattern I chose. I machine pieced the quilt and had it machined quilted. I also had the top binding machine sewn but I hand sewed the bottom binding over the past few weeks. As you can see, the

Thanks Kris. I did try that but it didn't work. It's OK tho because I created a new account and was able to get everything straightened out. Hopefully admin will delete the old account tomorrow. My new username is papmom35.

  • Re: Introduction from MA

But she didn't see it that way and loved it as much as he does. I've never been a creative person, at least

  • Nate's Blanket

This was my first blanket and I made it for my then 6 yr old nephew. It was challenging as the material really wasn't panel material but I was determined to make it work. I used the envelope method and hand tied it. I also made a matching pillow case to go with it which I guess I didn't take a pic of.

  • First table runner

The whole class was doing Christmas table runners 2 years ago so I joined in as I was between projects. I got this done in 2 classes which is a record for me and actually gave it to my SIL as one of her Christmas gifts. • Table Runner Wedding Gift

My best friend got married for the first time 2 years ago at the ripe young age of 55! She and John have a sun room that has morphed into their Tropical Room and overlooks the marsh. When I saw this pattern I knew I had to make it for them even tho they had requested no gifts. Since it was sent after the wedding, it doesn't count as wedding gift

  • Graem's Blanket

My friend gave birth to her son 15 months ago. I was able to finish this blanket a month after he was born. This is my first and only so far Around the World pattern. She was so happy to get this and loves it! I used the envelope technique and hand tied it.
