• Introduction from Anna in Middle Tennessee

Hi from a mediocre quilter. This is the stage that seems to work for me. I live with great HOPE for the next quilt. I'm retired and quilt most days and have a dozen rubbermaid containers with started quilts. My New Years resolution is to join the quilting forum and discuss successes and failures. Why am I so slow when my standards have been lowered

  • Quilting thread is snapping due to weight of quilt

I made a king size quilt (120 x 120) with traditional batting. The weight of the quilt is snapping the quilting when the quilt is tugged. The tension looks good on the quilting that is breaking. It was quilted on a Brother mid arm using Mettler silk finish thread. If I quilt every three inches will this correct this problem? Thanks for any help you
