  • So much time and no energy at all

    I had surgery on my right balsa joint, which is located at the base of your thumb and wrist back in April. I haven't been able to go back to work yet. On top of not being able to use my right hand for almost 2 months ( it was in a cast) I've had pneumonia 8 times this year. My energy level is nil, and I cant sleep well either.You would think

    I think that is so precious. Mu husband lost a Irish setter/lab last year from old age. We went to the mountains (Maggie Valley, NC about 41/2 hours away) while we were there we went into Waynesville and stopped by Michaels Craft store and right next to it was a pet smart store. Paws Rescue shelter was there having an adoption campaign and had several

  • Joined at the end of July

    Hi I'm Stacey from South Carolina. I'm just figuring out some of the sites perks and have just found out how to introduce myself.   • Grandchildren and the library

    I took my grandchildren to the library today. They are having a reading promotion at our local library for the month of Oct. For every 10 books we check out and the read we get a ticket to put one of the children's names on for a drawing and they get to go to a Halloween party. The more books they read the more chances they get to win prizes. They

    This week has been filled with getting granddaughter to her little league football games. She's 5 and is a cheerleader. I'm working on a tutu for her for Halloween. I found the cutest idea sheet of one at Jo Ann's. It uses tulle and fabric and ribbon. I've crocheted several scrunches with the ruffle yarn in the local towns colors for

  • Another uneventful day

    I have been out of work on leave due to surgery and illness, I have had a lot of time on my hands but to my dismay I was unable to sew....: ( But I'm doing better and have sewn afew simple dresses for my grand daughter to wear to school. I have a stack of patterns of quilts I hope to start on one this week. Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer
