    i iron dark fabric on the back,usually when i buy fabric and wash it i iron it from the back side.my tip is -use your fingertip or nail to "press"when you fold the seam back and just iron the back when you are finished. good luck with your quilt ulla

    i try to finish my "first"quilt today.i made around15 or so but i just have a sampler that´s hanging over a banister(?).i used a pattern from a strip therapy book and took cotton batting inside.i still need to quilt 2 squares .it usually takes me a while to finish a quilt because i like to do it the old way,quilting by hand.that´s
