  • Re: Starting Longarm Business

I am not a fast quilter as in putting the top together, but I will be more than happy to allow you all to quilt my tops when I get them done. I don't mind all over patterns. Give me a good rate as I will be mailing them to you and I will give you a platform to play on. : )

Hi Barbara, I still think preparing for next year would be best- however, if you have eager people that want to do some now then by all means go for it. For me to collect, I would prefer to have them ready for next year. I have too many projects that I need to be working on for Christmas for this year. I think it would be better to send them out in

I love your idea Barbara. If anyone group wants to receive, "credit" for it, they can take it over too, I am just so happy that you all want to do it.

They mail out the items in October to reach overseas, that is why I stated to do this for next year. You can make them all year round when you have nothing else planed ( like none of us has a zillion UFO..lol) But I thought this might be something easy to do and a fun project ....as well as knowing that the military person who gets this will feel the

  • Operationgive

http://www.operationgive.org/ Years ago when this group started this I did a lot of work with them. I have been thinking for sometime that maybe we all could make a stocking for the troops for these items to go in. It might be too late to do this this year, but if you all wanted to I would be happy to collect any that you made and have them ready for

  • Re: Let's make a (( HUG )). Quilt for THEA!!!!!

Candis, I am so glad that you checked in with "your first group". I always enjoyed seeing you on here. It seems like the glitches have been resolved, so maybe you will consider posting here a bit more now. Thea, how long do you plan to stay in OK? I love your quilts. I think I am going to work on doing tops right now, and when I can afford to send them off I will get them quilted. I understand more and more the fun in doing the patterns yourself, I will never be able to afford a quilt machine nor the space to house one. I am happy for you and others on
