i bought both the 9960 and this year, the futura 400. i Love the9960. just got around to setting the 400 up, havent used it yrt. If you buy the 9960, be sure to get thr one with the blue design on the front. it is the up to date model. a lot of dealers seem to think it doesnt matter, or will tell you its not, but it is. i have been sewing on singers
