I wanted a seasonal bed runner for my bed, but not one that was Christmas themed. It is hard to find things for winter that are not Christmas themed. The quilting was done to be the "skate" marks. I should have done more quilting, but I am not a machine quilter.

I made this bed runner for my son who is diabetic. His feet get cold but he doesn't like a lot of weight on him. This runner keeps his feet warm with the bulk from a big quilt. The runner is hand quilted

Primitive salt box house runner was made for a friend who wanted extra warmth on their feet but not the heaviness of a whole quilt. This bed runner is hand quilted with black embroidery floss to give it a "rustic' look.
