I FINALLY finished this quilt top (queen). So many little squares!! I'm pleased with the results...now need to choose a backing and will send this one out to be quilted. Any suggestions for a quilting design?

I think I'd mix a small multi-colored print with some solid strips. As for colors, I'd use various blues but more seafoam and even light aqua I'm not sure how you're assembling your quilt but I'd keep the darker shades toward the deeper water and maybe include some white at the wave-tops, it might add to the real-ness (I made that

I made this giant cupcake quilt for a friend for her birthday. It was such a hit that I may make more of these for other birthday celebrants who admire a hand-made gift! I finished it with a gold star button for the candle flame and all-over quilting of radom stars. Fun project to make!

Just finished this king bed quilt to coordinate with the sampler I posted earlier. Lots and lots of flying geese in the border and I was SO happy to find a short cut for making them!

The best way to shop for a machine is to "test drive" them. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, will have an opinion on what kind of machine you should buy. Sound advice! I find that if I put on music I love that it helps me slow down and enjoy the creative process of quilting. Music and quilting and quilting are both great stress relievers for me.
