Yes Sheila, Alexis, twin a, is about 1.5 lbs bigger than Lily. They are not identical twins. One has blue eyes and one brown. It will be fun to watch them grow. Just so lucky to have the chance to watch them grow up. The miracle of modern medicine..
Hi everyone, I'm still here. They gave a a big project to do while working, so I've had less time to work on quilting. For those who don't know, I

Great blocks Gini and Patricia Faye. Love the bright colors Gini. Patricia Faye, I'm glad you posted your block, my vase is similar colors. I will make sure to audition the fabrics before I start sewing. I like the idea of fabric paints for some shading. My block will be done a bit later this month. I have to get the sewing done on the nursery sets
Star, , how did you make your design wall? I'm working on one now and want others opinions on how they like theirs.
Like Judy said, plain flannel works great. I just bought six yards, cut in half and sewed together, ironed the seam, nailed to the wall. Wish I would have known about the cork board. I see

Jacy, great setting for your blocks. That is so creative. I did not get as far as I wanted on my April UFO, too many distractions. I did get a new design wall made and my blocks sorted and in place. I'm still working on the sashing and starts. So, for May my goal is sashing and stars. It wouldn't be so tough if this was not such a scrappy quilt
Hi all, I just got home from spending the day with Star at the Paducah quilt festival. We had a great time and tried very hard to help the economy! I bought tons of different types of appliqué needles in search of the perfect one for me. I got fabric, books, rulers, fusion pens, patterns, and
