Half of quilt top is assembled and because I didn't square up some things it is looking like the first quilt I ever made but I'm having fun. Its better to make a imperfect quilt then none at all. This is pic of my first quilt just to get a laugh.
I love it! I bet is is snuggly even if it isn't "perfect"

FINISHED! Well, except for the backing, quilting and binding. Here is the final kitty approved quilt top. Plus another picture without the cat. Just like many of you I had a border fabric selected, the it was just too busy for the quilt. Martha, Parker, CO
I'm playing with making a border with strips of the two quilt fabrics (pink and white) along with the black floral to see if I can make it work. If not, heigh Ho heigh ho off to the store I go.
I have been thinking about making the border from the light/dark fabric, too. Guess I will have to wait a little
I am loving everyone's blocks. You folks are doing a great job on these. I hope you have enjoyed the journey so far.
Nana, thanks so much for this mystery quilt. I am having a blast. I have never worked on anything that required so much precision and I'm learning a lot. Martha, Parker CO
. Did anyone notice there is no discussion for step 3? Maybe we were afraid to say anything or like me, still dealing with it. Diana in East Tn.
Diana, the discussion for step 3 is included in the discussion for step 2. Nana wasn't able to set up one for 3 so we just kept using 2. Martha, Parker CO

I have been busy chain sewing, but stopped to put enough together so I could complete a block. I love the way they are all looking. Martha, Parker, CO
