    Patricia Faye, I was introduced to quilting by friends who had large frames and hand-quilted. I loved the social aspect, but then I saw all the beautiful fabrics and simplified methods and figured I would learn to machine quilt. 4 tops is impressive!

    Thanks to so many of you for your friendly hellos. Got back from church and done with cleaning up lunch. Now to try my hand at cutting and making iron-on teddy bear appliqué. My pattern from Baby Quilts magazine calls for 9 of them. I have had such a mental-block against making this quilt! Maybe because of only doing a rail-fence pattern before

    Patricia Faye, I certainly hope you get rain. I grew up in Central Texas and have family there. What method will you use to quilt your 4 tops?

    Well, I have learned how to use QCA, looked at many baby quilts in the Gallery, joined some groups and I hope gotten revved up to try quilting again. About 4 years ago I took a beginning quilting class. Made a wall hanging top I love, but its never been finished :/ However, this did not slow me up on collecting all sorts of fabric and patterns ;). I

    I like the way you did the backing. Enough of a mix of prints to be a quilt itself, but simple and using on-hand fabrics. This is in reference to Kris' Sept 19 finished quilt.
