Everyone who replied. Thank you so much for your comments and new ideas for sewing room layouts. I am fortunate to live five minutes from JoAnn Fabrics headquarters and a huge store. I always have discounts to apply to anything that I want to purchase that is full price. For that reason, I don't purchase bulky stuff ahead of time. Batting for instance

This is a good idea. another of those things to have in your head for when you are out of something and need to improvise. And yes Nancy, Quilt means charge more. LOL but we know better. I wish I would have know a lot of this stuff when I started. I could have saved a lot of time and money. thanks

I already had this spice rack, but I didn't like it for spices. As I looked at it, I saw that it would be good in my sewing room.
