I recently finished my first pieced project, a table runner and placemats. The directions said to square up, but none of my pieces were big enough. I ripped and resewed, and they still didn't meet the required size. eventually I continued on. Things came out pretty good, but not perfectly lined up. I have now invested in a !/4 inch foot. Now if

I finished cutting out my newest project, a table runner & placemats. I can't wait to start actually sewing- but only with a well rested unfuzzy brain. I'm planning on giving it as a gift, so no dimwit mistakes! Let the fun begin!

I washed and ironed all my fabric, I read the instructions carefully, and then I cut my fabric. After some cutting, I noticed I didn't have enough fabric. What? You guessed it, I folded the fabric incorrectly. -SIGH- now I have to buy more fabric. What a shame.
