okiebarb, we have huge Indian land here with maybe 1000 people spread out. I don't even live in town. I'm way out surrounded by National Forest on a lake. Most of my nearest neighbors are only here in summer. I don't really know them which is fine with me! LOL I have 1 friend in town and she's the one that got me involved in quilting

Very nice fabrics Carolyn! I spent the day sorting through my fabrics, getting them out of boxes and into the cabinet my husband brought up from my other home. There is nothing and I mean nothing where I live. This township is so small! It has 2 gas stations, a Casino and a Polaris dealer. If I want to buy fabric around here I have to drive 1 hour one

I want to thank everyone for their compassion and hugs. 2 years ago I lost Tanner's dog partner and my oldest cat (17) both within 2 weeks so even though I knew Tanner's time would come, it's just killing me. Sheesh, I sound like such a baby. I take comfort in knowing Tanner will have lots of friends when he steps onto that Rainbow Bridge

Sukochi thank you so much. We will make sure his steps over the rainbow are peaceful. I've been a blubbering fool all day on the phone with my sisters. Thanks again and I hope you are doing well!

Thanks, Susan. He is more than just a dog. He's laying by my feet sleeping right now. I have to wait til Hubs get s here to take him in. Sigh. We've been through this many times but it never gets easier. We have 7 more critters, 5 cats and 2 more dogs and they'll all miss him come Saturday.

Thanks Ginny. It would be easier if I wasn't alone up here. Oh well, my sister called and cried. She loved Tanner too.

Spudgrandma and Bonita, thanks. Even the sky here in the woods is crying...yep it started raining. Our 2 other dogs will miss him too. Our oldest cat has been cuddling and sleeping with Tanner his whole life. He's going to be sad because all his animal partners he grew close to have passed. We call Shadow the cat of constant sorrow. We got him from

I'm having a sad day. We have to put our 14 year old well-loved dog to sleep on Saturday. He's been the best critter ever! He was my swimming buddy. I got him from a kill shelter in Illinois. But it's his time and he will no longer be struggling. Been crying all day. Tried to work on the hockey panel quilt and sewed the border upside down

I bought mine online from http://sewperfecttables.com/ It arrived in 4 boxes and took about 1/2 hour to set up.
