He reminds me of when we got our Max. All black and so cuddly. They are our precious pets.

  • Re: Kitchen counters, what do you have or like?

I have had both Formica and Corian, and given the choice I will not get either again. Both Corian and Formica scratch too easily. I have been doing some research on this and when we replace the counter tops, we will get Quartz (Silestone). Quartz requires NO maintenance and has the shine of granite and will not burn. • Re: Metallic thread

I have 2 Viking machines and the tension can get whacky if the bobbin area is full of lint. If that area is clean then the tension may need some adjustment or the machine needs calibration. I use metallic thread all the time and use the 90 topstitch needle and stitch slowly and I do not have a problem.

  • Re: Using embroidery machine to quilt

you can incorporate embroidery in your quilt in many different ways. You can select a theme and embroider each block individually. This is easier than embroidering after the quilt is put together

If you are seriously looking to purchase a singer, the Viking dealer located in a JoAnn store is selling them. You can get lessons and questions answered there. They are very helpful. They also honor the sales in the JoAnn flyer. I purchased my 2 Viking Designer machines from them and they have no problem answering stupid user questions. I know, I have

  • Re: Disappointed with F & P e-magazine subscription

I have a subscription to magazines online but I tend to forget my password. So that when I get the notice that a new issue of the magazine is available I print the issue using Primo PDF and keep a copy on my hard drive in a folder for that Magazine. It is easier to keep track of if it is on my hard drive. Primo PDF is a great way to save paper and printer
