Here is my finished MQ#7, ready to be sent to the quilter. I enjoyed doing this Mystery and using fabrics from my scrap pile. I'm sure to make several more for charity gifts.

Finished!!! And to think it's all made from my 'scrap pile', (except the outer border) I modified the white border to help keep it more rectangle than 'boxy'. The wider top/bottom borders also gives the quilter some 'creative space' to work with. I think it looks okay. Final measurement is 74 x 82. I liked the way this pattern

Nope, I was replying to Debbie's post from Friday,...... "also, I discovered (for those not as smart -like me - as some of these experienced quilters) that the pieces from step 2 always sew the two the same order - mine are 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 on top of the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 sewed with the 4 x 5 1/2 on top of the 4 x 3 1/2. found out, too late and then

I use a lot of green in my quilts, so that is the major color I had in my scrap pile I used to make this. I added a punch of gold. Can't wait to see how the border pulls everything together.

Yes, I found that out the hard way and had to 'unsew' 12 blocks! Wish the instructions had mentioned that. lol
