  • My 2nd T-shirt Quilt

This quilt was made for the Leukemia victim himself, using some of the t-shirts he used throughout his short life. I was so thankful that he was able to 'enjoy' it for the few weeks before his death. BUT the memories in the quilt will live on, as a treasure, with his family for many years to come.

  • SIX quilts for Christmas

I made SIX quilts in 4 1/2 months! (wish I could show them all to you - but only one photo is allowed per upload, and it would be 'boring' to submit all 6. BUT this quilt will give you a general idea. I made one for a young bride, one for a door prize at our Church Ladies Christmas Breakfast, One for a Grandniece and one for a Grandnephew, one

  • 2013 Flag, with Embelishment

I LOVE of the American Flag. And I LOVED the idea from 'HoopSisters' of embroidering the 'Pledge of Allegiance' on the stripes - but I wanted a flag with more of a 'curved' angle (than my 2012 Flag I posted last year). So I used the 'Simple Curves' Ruler from 'Phillips Fiber Art' to make my basic flag. Then I

This is a 40 X 52" quilt using Quilt in A Day's pattern 'Tossed 9 Patch' (used 8.5" cut as my base) and Machine Embroideried Appliqued Owls purchased from Designs by JuJu. • 2012 - It's Fall

This was a BOM I purchased through a Quilt Shop in 2008 - which after ONE block, became a UFO! I now have it completed and have added Machine Applique Scarecrows to it (which were SO much fun dressing!) and also some various Machine Embroidery Designs. After Outline Quilting all the Applique - I crosshatch quilted it every 1". I really enjoyed

  • 2012 - Autumn Wind

This design is from software by Lunchboxquilts.com. I made a variation of it - as I like to make quilts 50x70" - and call them 'LifeTime' quilts because they are good for ALL ages - 9 mos to 99 yrs. :-) This is one of my UFO's so I am SO glad to get it done! :-) Leaves (batiks) are machine appliqued with a Viking 'Ruby' Embrodering

  • 2012 - Re-Piecing the Past: Civil War Blocks

This was an Online Class I took on Craftsy.Com. You have Comple Instructions: Video and Print-Outs - and you work at your own pace. A LOT of fun - and Very rewarding, once you finish the class. :-) (It was taught by Kaye England - and even though I have been quilting for 23 years - I still learned quite a bit from her. Good Class!) The 12 Blocks are

  • 2012 - Flag, with Pledge

This was done using HoopSisters Embroidery Program 'Old glory'. If you look closely, you will see the Pledge of Allegiance written in the white strips.
