Why we wash: I ask mom why she cut the end off the ham each time she cooked. Ask your gramma, Grama why do we cut the end of the ham off each time, ask great gramma. whydo we cut the ham? Answer I never had a big enough pot! Moral, fabric used to shrink and colors bleed, today theres not so much of a problem! TRADITION!!!!

I 'v had a Bernina 820 for 11/2yrs. Hate it. After machine quilting for 20+ years without a regulator it was nearly impossible to learn to use it. I took it back. If you learn to quilt with one I'm told there great but if you learn without it does not allow for any habits you may have picked up along the way. Not about cheating, about prefrence

wasnt aware of the yahoo sites. please advise. I have the 820 because I really didn't need to get into embroidery too. even with lessons I seem to have problems with the easy parts like tension thread breaking, the machine not wanting to sew whatever Im working on. any help will be appriciated. Ellen

This is my first time to try a web site. I"ve been quilting since 1985, started out teaching Ellenor Burns Log Cabin In a Day before Rotary cutters! Wow how far weve come.
