  • Storing fabric

I'm sure you all notice how heavy fabric can get. My wooden shelves warped under the weight. (yes, i have a lot of fabric) So my husband bought me some metal wire racks from Costco. They are strong (REALLY), have wheels, and allow air to flow more freely through the fabric so it does get smelly. P.S. How do you all get your name so nicely written

  • labeling

When I need label my rows such as in a bargello quilt I use painters tape. It doesn't damage the fabric and can be removed and restuck as needed. I remove it and place on my ironing board when pressing my fabric, then put it right back on when I'm done. I also use painters tape to hang blocks to my wall. I hope this helps someone :->
