Hi! I love the 2 1/2 gallon size zip lock bags for both quilting and knitting projects! But finding them can some times be fun too! I store blocks in them, and small projects that I can grab if going someplace that I have time to sit and wait. One of my grandkids call me the queen of zip lock bags.

Hi! Does going to get fabric at my LQS count as working on a quilt today? Spent part of this morning at Hickory Stick looking for fabric and ideas for a border to a quilt block!

Hi! I don't mind an early block, but it may still take me a full 30 days to get it done, as I have to think on what I want to do. And Mindy, you can send your block when you are ready! Mine is almost ready to go out, too! Marilyn

Do you have anyone close by you can ask about tax issues? Or a friend that has a business? Know a local artist that may have answers? A Chamber officce should have some answers for you. I sold my gammill machine when we moved from Ks to MO a few years ago. But I loved the machine and the fact that they serviced and traned me to use it. I did both pantographs

Back in the late 1990"s Jean Ray Laurie put out several books that were about quilting that my DH thought were just a hoot, and he read them to me till he got to the part about "once your family gives you space for your quilting" it was about never ever giving it back, and at that time I had the dinning room table full of fabric, a piece

Today I went to the quilt shop, Hickery Stick that is 4 blocks from my house. It is always fun to go there, and buy fabric for a project! It is hard not to want to bring most of the fabric home with me, but today I bought a cartoon pannel that I think I might use some of it in my round robin blocks. Some "Mark Twain" print fabric, and the
