Well Sophie's quilt is done, delivered, and appreciated. It took a while. Onward to the UFO pile. This Sophie quilt is about smallish twin size. The back is an organic cotton twin top sheet, and some was trimmed off. Sophie and the cat are liking it a lot. I tell you what, that cotton sateen whatever stuff is trickly to sew with, by hand where you

Wow. I've been so darn busy minding my own business that I missed the fuss. Just a troll, and the tracks will fade if you don't feed it. I'm far along in Sophie's quilt now, once around the edge to finish of the missed bits and then it's bind and ship. I got too far behind in Christmas goods and overshot her birthday a bit. This

We have huge I don't know how big old wood hoops, but now on the wall because it hurts to hold them with my various parts pain. It's heck to get old, but beats the alternative, as they say. I now use the very ugly Dritz No-Slip plastic hoops, reckon about 12' or 14', and a shelf-full of smaller ones to finish off the funky bits. Last

Agnes I think I said before the Window quilt is awesome, but looking again it deserves a repeat. That quilt is aweswome. All quilts and stories posted are excellent. I could never tire of mouse stories. Gini the story of my next Amish phase. From watching reruns of Amish Mafia I'm getting fascinated by the colors and by the simple designs. Piecing

Sunday Report: I'm quilting my fingers off on Sophie's Quilt. Not sure I will make the deadline but trying. I did take a few minutes out to help cook a spare-turkey Thanksgiving repeat feast on Saturday. (we ran out of leftovers too soon on the official feast) Went to the Fabrique Boutique to cash on the coupons, four fifties and two forties

Original poster, that is a splendid quilt. Sorry to have participated or fostered thread-hijacking, but not very much, because tea is such a fascinating subject. Also it seems the bag v. pot subject still stirs interested

Here's the bright (not calm) baby quilt delivered to Baby Momma. But the back is mild penguins. Baby can be on that side for calmness.
