    Ahhhh, okay Roxana, thanks! I've been in no sew swaps, just didn't know it! LOL I was thinking maybe it was swapping notions or something- still a newbie I guess! :/

    YAY for 16 sign ups! I'm excited because I know these blocks will make a beautiful sampler. I couldn't stand the stitches anymore so I took out 5 and Doug got the 3 that I couldn't get to easily; already feels better! Now that I don't have to go the doctor's appointment for removal, that clears up a day for sewing :D [quote user

    Hi Arleen and welcome! I started QCA in May 2012, so I am a newbie too! Yes, I agree, start with small projects. You get practice and you can complete a small project so much faster than with a quilt that can overwhelm you. Table toppers, table runners, even a wall hanging with a few large, simple blocks. Throw pillows for your bed or sofa. Tackle those

    Phyllis - I want you to know that in no way, shape or form, was my message directed at you. I've never had any dealings with you and I admire you for stepping up and taking care of your father.
