Everyone's blocks are turning out great and they sure are different from each other. I just uploaded my February blocks to the media page. Looking forward to March blocks. Is there some way to post to the discussions without replying to a previous post?

This block was enlarged to 12" finished with EQ7 and then rotary cut according to EQ's calculations.

This block was rotary cut.
NQ, your blocks are great
Thanks, it is fun seeing all the blocks people have made. It amazes me how different they all look using the same patterns but different fabrics. Inspiring.
Now how do I get the paper removed from the back of my squares so they don't Crunch when you move them......... :)
If you are having difficulty getting the paper off the back without pulling out your stitches, try running the back of your stitch ripper along the seam on the paper and see if that releases

This block took me quite a while to complete. I did it all with PP after drawing the block in EQ7. I found it easier to take the paper off the sections after I had trimmed them but before I sewed the sections together. That isn't what most of the instructions say but it worked for me. I went for the tropical feel. I've had enough snow for this

This block was quick and easy using rotary cutting methods. I've made both these blocks many times in larger sizes.

I drew this block in EQ7 because I couldn't get the pattern to print out the right size from the internet. I did the bees with PP and the four patch on point with rotary cutting. It turned out to be just under 12 1/2" unfinished.

I finished my blocks a few days ago but am just getting time today to learn how to post them on the group site. I still don't really like paper piecing but am learning to do it better when it is necessary. I haven't decided what I will do with my blocks, possibly hot pads, maybe but them in a quilt for my RV. It's been fun working on them

I don't usually do group quilting projects but this BOM sounds like fun. I'll see how many I can do this year. I need some new hot pads and this seems like a great way to get some done. Probably not today though. Bonnie (Northernquilter)
