CC- so very sorry to hear about your Un-dad passing away last night! I'm sure you're right----he had a special pass, entitling him to go right through! I believe the same when my Dad passed away 5 years ago about a week before Mothers' Day. Hey! maybe my Dad escorted him through the "pearly gates"! Hope you find that as comforting

Unfortunately, no Linda. Not only have I never heard of it but I couldn't afford to pay for any subscriptions anyway. Yes, a lot of my body didn't work very well at all at first, but it all seems to be coming back with physical therapy and a lot of praying! Thanks for sharing your experience, strength, hope and your prayers! Big hugs!

Hi chococake2! So sorry to read that your Un-Dad is so ill and my family will be praying for you and your family! I haven't been here for awhile because I had a severe heart attack back towards the end of February. I almost didn't make it and spent 10 days in ICU. I got home from the hospital about 2 weeks ago. The first thing I had my husband

Well... the pot roast came out perfect! My husband even said that it was better than what he'd get in a restaraunt and if it was that good, they'd charge an arm and a leg for it! From him, that's a huge compliment! He even told me it was my best dish ever! Thanx everyone! I couldn't have done it without your ideas and help! Let me know

Wow! Are you guys the bomb or what? Thank you very, very much, all of you! Why was I making this harder than it is? Probably because I burnt the last one (12 yrs.ago!), right? Any of you notice the length of time it took me took get the nerve up to try this again? I will sear on all sides. Don't have Lipton soup mix and I want to use my oven, even

Since I became disabled I've suddenly learned to love to cook, especially from scratch. While I'm very good at baking and cooking most other foods, I'm afraid I've never successfully cooked a pork roast. (I burnt the last one 12 years ago!)Is there anyone out there with a super tasty, tender and relatively easy recipe? Here's what

Hi all, I posted something yesterday, but when the 'time' came I got ERROR. Well, by that time I just couldn't sit anymore (extremely bad back), so I didn't re-post it. Here's what I said in a nutshell: thanks to all for your suggestions regarding the sewing cabinet! I'm still curious about how to make my own "audition wall"

I don't know if this'll help, chocake2, but this has worked for not only my kids when they were teething, but for puppies and kittens also! Especially when I was desperate and nothing else worked, Ice-chips and for my puppy small ice-cubes. Just make sure the ice-chip is small and wet it under tepid water quickly. I'd just gently press it
