This one started out as something else, but it really wanted to be a midnight garden. I used some stars with the compasses on this project, and lots of flowers. It is made of 100% cotton fabrics, and it is stitched with a clear nylon thread. It is made with paper piecing, applique, and regular piecing. This quilt is not finished yet. I haven't decided

King size bed quilt. This is my first curved piece quilt. It is made of top quality cotton batiks, and 100% cotton print fabrics. It is reversible as well, wit a checkerboard of Starry night fabric and a starry night fabric with brightly colored planets, so you get 2 quilts in one.

The earth is coming apart! The volcanos are all spewing lava,and it runs down the mountainsides, clearing everything in its way. New entities rise from the lava, and take wing through the skies, spinning their way through the universe creating what?? An art quilt featuring Mariners Compasses. Made of all cotton fabrics, and stitched with nylon clear thread. The compasses are paper pieced, and the volcanos are done free hand. This is my first real art quilt, and so it is very special to me.
