Here are my first six blocks. On the last two blocks , I experimented in order to save my background block. I used rectangles of my background placed on a scrap cloth triangle for the spiderweb, and a strip on the center of the small square for the string piece on the right. The scrap cloth replaced the whole square(s) of my background cloth. Judy From

To all who have posted blocks or expressed reservations about participating. I have looked at all the blocks and love all the color combinations you have chosen. MN Nancy, glad you checked out the color tool, I am thrilled with it. You can change the angle by dragging the non-shaded circle. This lets you tweak the choices if you have a couple fabrics that you want to include and see what the possibilities are. Some are very daring!!!
