  • 2017 winner of Nebraska "150 Great Years" quilt

    This quilt celebrates 150 years of the Great State of Nebraska. Teresa Cahoy from Bridgeport, Nebraska, just won the quilt today at Chimney Rock. She said that she was going to win. The quilt shows different famous things from Nebraska including the wildlife and flowers. It also has the counties of Nebraska and of course the most famous of all "Chimney

  • Nebraska - 150 "GREAT" years

    This over sized lap quilt is depicting Nebraska's wildflowers and wildlife. With the County names in the shape of the state and the Platte river stitched through. 1867 and 2017 is hand embroidered and celebrating 150 years as a state and special things featured in each churn dash block. Of course, Chimney Rock is also featured where it is located

  • Leftovers

    This is a quilt that I just finished for a surprise Birthday party for my neighbor Laurie. It is made up of leftovers from other quilts. I pieced it together and hand-stitched the binding. I didn't have time to hand quilt it so I tied it instead. Her husband gave me a 4 day notice !

  • Halloween spider table topper

    I made this table topper for my co-worker, Amanda. It is for her little boy. It is a "Spiderweb" shaped table topper of Halloween prints. Spiderweb machine quilting and appliqued spider. 29 inches long at the points. 100% cotton fabric. It took me a little over 3 hours to make.

  • Chimney Rock quilt

    I made this quilt for a door prize drawing for our Sunday Afternoon at the Rock speaker series that we have every year at the Chimney Rock Visitors Center at Bayard, NE.
