If you look at the selvage, the little dots that show the colors used are exactly one repeat of the pattern apart. Makes measuring very simple.

These are the fabrics for my MQ7. I plan on 6x8, or 3 blocks from each color. Way, way outside my preferred prints!

Hi Suki Dog, I bought the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Panel and quilt pattern for my son last year and have been bugged by the instructions to make some of the blocks with the postage stamp cut on the edges of the blocks, and others to have the postage stamp edge on the inner edges of the outer border fabric and place that over the inner

Zsofia, I'd never imagined taking this quilt in that direction, but WOW! It is so interesting. Is it just a corner to corner cut or is there some other thing in it? Did you square the blocks to 8-1/2" first? It is a fantastic quilt, from a simple pattern! Great work!

Everyone's quilts are amazing! I love the different colors and how such collections of different fabrics blended to make cohesive quilts. The purples, the blues, the autumn colors and the red, white and blue quilts were all WOW quilts, as were a lot of the quilts that I saw. I didn't see any I didn't like! Anyone volunteering to come finish

I worked on four quilts today, if hunting for fabric counts as working on a quilt! There's the Grinch quilt for my son (I'm still fighting with the postage stamp edges!), MQ7 (Finally made up my mind as to fabrics, will post pics tomorrow), Easy Street (trying to find enough fabrics ) and the Craftsy Class "Quick Quilting with pre-cuts"
