Not as far as I know. QCA is really not on the ball with...well, anything. :( There have been several questions about the contest on their facebook page as well, with no response.

  • Re: Craftsy Block of the Month class

I haven't started on any of the blocks yet either. I was waffling about whether or not to make them since I don't love some of the blocks and putting so much work into something without knowing what the end product is supposed to look like isn't really my thing. I've decided to go for it, but do mine in all solids. I think I can handle

  • Re: Welcome Packet not received, plus not receiving QCA newsletter

I ordered a membership (my first) over 3 months ago and still have not received a membership packet. :( ETA: Nevermind. I'm stupid. I ordered the premium in Feb, not Dec. I had planned to order in Dec. and got busy with holiday stuff. My bad. So, I guess my membership package will arrive eventually.

  • Re: fabric Cutting tools

My rulers were always slipping and it gets very tiresome to press down hard to keep them from slipping, so I used bumper dots for cabinet doors/drawers to keep them from sliding. They're small, clear, self-adhesive, and cheap--far cheaper than replacing all my rulers with non-slip ones. I already had them on hand because I use them on my kitchen

  • Re: Darn it! Blood on my white quilt

I keep Tide to Go pens handy. I've never gotten pricked and bled on a white quilt, but I do it frequently while sewing patches on or altering my hubby's dress whites. Tide pen and a couple of paper towels always helps take the spot out.

Well, I kind of feel like I should at least LEARN the technique. But the blocks would probably go straight for the bin afterward, so what's the point. I seem to LOVE the one no one else really likes--the chevron. But then, I'm a little nuts for chevrons in general...must be something to do with my military hubby's uniforms. ;)

  • Re: How are our points calculated.....
If you notice under your avatar it gives you a running total of your points. Nobody has ever told us what the points were for....some mentioned a prize for the highest points.....maybe a longarm.....ROFLOL. So far none of us have reached a high enough level to get the longarm.........
I noticed the points thing

  • Re: Craftsy Block of the Month class

I signed up for the class, but haven't had time to make the January blocks yet, let alone get started on the February blocks. I really don't like some of the blocks, though. I know I'm picky, but I kind of hate the designs. I guess I should soldier on, but it's tough to put a bunch of work into learning to quilt when I think the patterns
