Finally got around to uploading this one. It was ordered by a workmate that liked a picture of an all blue one posted in June last year but wanted hers in red. The most challenging part was finding enough mainly red fabric with different designs/patterns to contrast with all the other red fabrics, as she didn't want red/white or red/black etc just

Re the weighted pincushion, my guild are having one of our members do a workshop on a sewing machine mat complete with pincushion and waste basket that she designed, unfortunately its not until June, so you'll have to wait for pictures, but it's a really lovely item

I finally finished this one and put it in the Ballarat show, it won 1st prize in the novice section. I think the black sets off the colours beautifully, don't you?

Could be a higher level of security or firewall, I can't get some sites from work for that reason

No Lowes in Oz with paint card (ours is a clothing store) so I got out the Jinny Beyer swatch sample thingy and held the fabrics up to the screen and wrote dow the numbers, now at least I have a rough idea of the colours I need

I'm going to finish cutting my FWS this weekend then use up what large enough scraps I have from that as a basis for this one, then raid the FQ stash and go from there. I've also got the modern mystery to finish which I'm using scraps for as an I Spy cot quilt, Joy
