The last time I checked this group, you had a play-by-play of your trip to Ireland with highlighted stopping places along the way. I started to read them and then got pulled away. I planned to come back to read because I felt they might be helpful to me and give me some ideas for our upcoming trip to the Emerald Isle (end of February). Is there a place

Hey Nancy... It is bright and colorful and appropriately named! It turned out well and the colors go together well. Good job! As soon as I'm done posting this, I'm packing the cooler and heading north for the week. Maybe we can get together? I'm bringing a couple projects I hope to complete. Hopefully we won't get snowed in too badly

I was determined to get my MQ7 done by weeks end and finished it early Wed. morning. I'm just getting around to posting and uploading pictures. I posted my fabric choices earlier... Christmas/winter theme with an emphasis on snowmen (I love them).... with fabrics purchased at the Brainerd (MN) Quilt Show with MNNancy. We had fun searching for the

I finished my MQ7 and I'm pleased with the results, even though I veered off from the given directions. I plan to add a light batting, quilt it and as a table cloth. Jacy and MNNancy... I was thinking the same as you: a dark green, blue, black or gold would be nice too. I guess I'll have to make another trip to the quilt shop and check the color wall!

She gave me the January/February 2012 issue of Quiltmaker Magazine , telling me she really liked the " Hearts Afloat " quilt found on page 26. It was a very strong hint that she wanted me to make it for her. I took pictures of the colors

I was at the Quilt & Sewing Expo in MN yesterday and picked up some fabrics to add to what I had for my Mystery 7 quilt. I haven't picked a border fabric yet. Any suggestions?

Jackie, could you share your yummy tortilla soup with those of us that weren't at the retreat please? I'm always up for a new soup recipe now that it's fall and soup weather.
