  • Re: East Tennessee quilters lunch

I would love to see you again. I'm struggling to get out of the house. Agoraphobia and panic attacks at 60 is embarrassing.

I haven't been sewing much lately. I haven't even been knitting either. We have our home for sale and I am not the neatest quilter. Hopefully our home will sell soon and would appreciate your prayers. Phil really needs to retire soon. I would live in a cave with my wonderful hubby (as long as there's electricity or I find an old fashioned

I am having lunch with some ladies from Facebook group the Quilting Bee. It's at Puleo's Grille on Cedar Bluff in Knoxville at 1pm. Anyone who is in the area are welcome to join us.

I have felt that. I sleep under a quilt of love from the wonderful quilters here. I cannot put into words how much this quilt means to me.

  • hello again

I know I have been scarce for quite some time. I'm still around. Our family has been through a lot. Of course, being nucking futs, I have been isolating way too much. I hope I'm still remembered by a few here. I'm sorry for being AWOL. I'm working my way back.

I am okay. It upsets my sweetie too much when I am down. I have to fake being happy, happy, happy when he is home. Not hard when he is at work, but enormously difficult on his weekend, which is Sunday and Monday. I was supposed to go to the doctor today but had to cancel because my son has hubby 's truck after totaling his own and Phil is driving

Reading many of the posts, I know I seemed ungrateful, especially to Diana. You all did an amazing job on the quilt, especially Diana. She is an amazing woman. I know the work finishing it and having it quilted cost Diana so much. I also know the price of having it quilted. I have a theory that most people, quilters excepted, don't know and appreciate

See there? Your kindness and friendship and love bring me to tears. If I hang around you all, I will lose weight...even if it is just water weight from my tears. I want to be of use, to have a purpose. Guess I'll just have to do that on my few good days. Thank you all.

Thank you, ladies. I know most of us struggle with money and offspring who drain you and your bank account. It's a good thing Phil has several guns. He is now good friends with the local pawn shop. Expensive but what does one do? Today he pawned the second of my 3 purple guns. I told him to just sell mine, but he won't. I'm having trouble

Ladies, I have 2 problems. I am so humbled and grateful to Diana and all of you who helped create such a beautiful quilt for me and many of you know how very much I love all shades of purple. My first problem is the feeling that I so don't deserve the love and kindness represented by this quilt. I am humbled and in awe of each of you and your talents
