Dryer sheets are a wonderful solution as long as the perfumes don't get to you. For me a much better solution is crumbled up newspaper or lumps of charcoal. Can you tell that perfumes are dynamite for me?

A very reasonable alternate to OTT lites is refitting your current bulbs to florescent daylight bulbs. I have one actual OTT lamp and the color is yellow in comparison to my daylight bulbs. I use the OTT lite as my bedside reading lamp because I could clamp it where I wanted it. There is another name that some manufactures use instead of daylight but

I may sound corny but just taking a break and going back after half an hour can make a big difference. Sorry if it sounded like the showcases were large enough to showcase a quilt fully, They have to be folded so the quilt rack that DH made for me was part of the display. I was looking for my photo but is eluding me right now. I think the quilt looks quite safe. Lovely to see you with it.
