Updated photo of current wall quilt I am working on...just starting to quilt the layers together, still have to print and stitch on info on postcard and rework different fabric on tree lines to be more 3d, and then quilt, bind and put hanger on....and then do two more just like it...one for each of my kids! At least another week or two to finish!..

It took me nearly 4 weeks to create this, but my latest quilt wall hanging is ready to donate to my daughter Heather Havlicek and her school in recognition of her first project on her first art teaching position making it on the front page of our local newspaper!

This quilt wall hanging was made Spring 2011 for my daughter's future grandparents-in-laws in honor of their 60th wedding anniversary... it was recently displayed at grandpa's wake and has become a treasured memory for grandma.... remember to label your works of art and include a personal message if appropriate because you never know how valued

This was my first commissioned quilt wall hanging...the client brought me pictures printed on fabric and 3 chunks of fabric for backing,background and frame borders. It took me 2 weeks full-time to complete this order.
