Haven't been on QCA for weeks and was surprised I only had 4 pages to catch up on. 15 members are now on My Quilt Place. It's a very active site. I would get another doctor opinion. I've

  • Operation Give

Operation Give is a project to send filled Christmas stockings to soldiers. I made 20 stockings from scrappy strips for the fronts. The backs are Christmas fabric.

[quote user="zoetc49"] Linda, You did GREAT !!! Maybe you can start that group too over on the other site? I feel terrible for not doing what I planned. It would be great if this got picked up in a magazine to get all quilters to do them. I love your card you made for them. how thoughtful and I know those that get them will be so delighted

I finished 20 stockings and sent them directly to Operation Give. It took them a while before they answered my email with directions on where to send. By then I had already found the info. Regardless, they were mailed on Monday. I created a Christmas card and inserted into each stocking as well.

Patricia - The clothes you made for that darling GD are so cute! I love making clothes for my 3 GDs. Is & Thea - Take care of yourselves. Add you both to my ever growing prayer list. Those of you going to retreat...have fun and be safe in your travels.

Sue - loved the quilt show and the statues from the Veterans Park! I'd like to visit the park too. Someday I just might get back to Texas. I was born in Ohio, but spent my first 4-1/2 years living in Ft. Worth while Daddy was in the Air Force. My uncle was stationed in Austin at the same time. I never saw snow until we came back to Ohio in time
