  • Re: Suggestions

You gals do a great job. I think rules are rules. If you are going to join a swap, read the rules and make sure you understand them. If you think you might have a problem, don't sign up. I know life happens and that can be handled. But let the hostess know ASAP. Don't just do nothing about it. Those who do not follow the rules spoil it for everyone

They have been married 8 years and this is the first time they have ever considered spending any time with me. I'm on cloud 9. Of course, I have to make the

Marie, I had the best surprise the other evening. My daughter-in-law wanted to know if they could come over the day after Thanksgiving. And they are bringing the dinner! They have been married 8 years and it's the first time that they have even considered spending any time with me on the holiday. Of course, I'll have to make the 3 grandchildren

  • My Secret Garden - Unfinished

"My Secret Garden" is the end of an 8 month row robin project. Our group was talking one day about round and row robins and none of us had ever done a row robin. I have to say the row robin. All the fabric came from my stash. Wish I could show you some of the other completed row quilts. There was a lot of talent in this group of 8 women. Everyone

  • U R My Sunshine

Had made this quilt for a special person, but the relationship didn't work. One day my friend Jan was here and was telling me about a boy who was sick with the same name. I told her I had just the thing to give him. It is made from a panel with borders. I cut the panel apart and added some other fabric pieces to it. The panel reminded me of the
