Patti - I've learned what it is to host retreats. It's exhausting, time consuming, and expensive. I still enjoyed it though. But after 2 years and failing health, I can no longer host retreats. It's good to see you here. Nana - It's great to see you too. I've only just returned in the past few months. I'm a regular on 2 other

No Carol you are not alone. My tree is up. I actually wrapped a couple gifts today. There are a ton of gifts that are not done, cut out, but haven't even started to sew.. Almost finished the tree skirt for my friend today. Will finish in the morning. Really tired today. The QOV I wanted done for Christmas probably won't make it till New Year

Rachel, I love BOM especially if I can use my stash. I'm not too keen on the stashdown. I'm definitely interested in a UFO group and a scrappy group.

The doctor called with the results of the brain MRI. Good news is the carotid artery is good for now and I've only had 1 stroke so far. But there are indications that if I don't slow down immediately and considering my family history on both sides and my fragile condition these days, another fall, stroke, or heart attack would probably end my

Another good group for charity quilts is Wounded Warriors.org. or any local VA hospital. Did you know that most VA hospitals now have NEO natal units? We've been making preemie and baby blankets for them. Don't forget we have women vets now.

Hi Barbara, Glad to see you. I think of you everyday when Indy uses the quilt you made him. It's great when we go shopping to use in the seat part on shopping carts. And of course, I get lots of compliments on the quilt you made me. It's used frequently in the living room. Everyone, I met Barbara at the Amish Retreat that I hosted in Berlin

I belong to a UFO group on another site and love it. So I'd definitely be interested in a UFO group here. Also I'm a scrap quilter, so a scrappy group would be cool. I'd love retreats, but money and traveling just aren't in my picture. I loved the round robins, but I have to say they cost me a lot of money because I seldom had anything

I'm still here on QCA but I miss the good old days and all the gals that left and haven't returned. I don't get on as frequently as I used to. I tried QATW and didn't like it at all. I'm pretty regular on Quilt with Us partly because they have a fibro group and prayer group and they are so supportive. They also have an Ohio quilters
