Completed MQ6 and calling it CONTROLLED CHAOS . A lot of fun and stress. Picked a lot colors and got more nervous as time went on thinking what in hell's name have I done. But as with most quilts, they all come out great and the more colors the more interesting. Early on I decided to go solid with the borders and then added all those extra HST's

I was going to ask the same questions as Diane from New Jersey. This is my second mystery quilt. With the MQV we had a few weeks to complete the top and Sandy gave dates for that and for putting up pictures. Then about a week or two to vote on a crowd favorite. Then a week or so to reveal the "winner". Will we be doing the same this time around

  • Re: Scrappy Project Fabric Requirements

I'm not sure I can do this one. I have so many projects to finish. Like they'll get done soon anyway. Can I squeeze another mystery quilt in how? I'm gonna see. Anyway, I have the material requirements, what is the schedule for this quilt? When will the instructions be available? Sorry if this info is out but I didn't see it.

Sewing done on Step 5. Have lots of threads to cut but have a few days to get them snipped. And a couple of days to play with the squares to try to guess what Thursday night/Friday will bring. (I'm west coast.)

Thanks. I guess that's the fun of the Mystery. Did't know where we were going with the fabrics when we choose them and was scared when I saw that the larger print was so prominent. The small squares match all the colors and are a small print BUT depending on where we go now, it will either be an eyesore or really pretty. Planning solids for
