Got everything cut and have printed out my Triangulations sheets will try to get them done during the week :) I went with a Kona Dark Plum and a Kona Orange solid and have a border fabric picked out also. Uploaded a picture in the Media section for MQ # 8.

You will then cut these strips into (5) 8 1/2 " by 1" sections per each strip . You should have 65 total segments." Happy cutting

I am wondering the same thing about switching the light and dark. I thought I had enough of the light but now I think I was mistaken with my measurements and thinking. I hope we can :)

Hello Nana, Quick question in step one for the HST you stated 2" finished. I want to make sure they are to be 2 1/2" prior to being sewn into the quilt and will finish in the quilt as 2". Just checking because I was going to use one of the methods you mentioned. Thank you for doing this mystery for us!!

Nana this sounds great love the idea of a 2 color quilt. Will be waiting to see more details for fabric as we get closer to the start of MQ#8.

Finally finished piecing the top. Was thinking of adding another border but when I hung it up on the wall I said I think it is big enough. :)
