This mystery quilt has really been a study in patience and precision for me! I am so glad you came up with this one, Nana. Thanks. So many interruptions, so little time. I have finally started sewing the blocks. It will be a while before I get it all together. All the quilts so far are absolutely beautiful. I love every one of them!!!

Thank you, Maggie! I've made a couple of quilts that have that paisley theme to them. Takes me back to my high school years, the hippie movement was just slowing down...I missed most of it, but it wasnt my cup of tea anywho. But I do love the fabric of that time!

Actually the red fabric has a subtle print to it but that red seems to overwhelm everything!!

I am giving this quilt to my mom. I had the print material and added the red and pink cuz she likes those colors. Have my fabric cut, but need to add to the total of the 81/2" strips now that I have read thru the posts...glad I did, too. But thank goodness Nana made sure we had fabric left over..=)

My step daughter has a style all her own. She is a beautiful mom of two, has taken on a third, works hard everyday, is smart, and knows how to squeeze a dollar....can you tell I like her a little? I made this quilt for her, taking her theme of old world crosses, as a place to start. I used the block Greek Cross, again from Judy Hopkins book, and tweeked

I made this quilt for my DDIL. The picture panels are all of Emma, my beautiful granddaughter. With her parents. Megan loved the quilt, said each picture took her right back to the time and place in her memory. I did a lot of hand quilting on this one. I still need to get a label for it tho. I used a block called Aunt Addies Album. From the book Around
