  • Re: What are you up to today #10

I'm going to be dreaming of hearts! Still in the process of doing a bit of applique work. I've decided to make two of the same quilt, why you ask! With this move still in progress I won't have a sewing machine available until the middle of July. To keep myself busy, I'm going to applique away! I figure they will make great Christmas

I'm kinda new, having difficulty maneuvering this site, but I'll get it. Cooler day here in No. CA, cooler by maybe we won't hit the triple digits today. Continuing to applique my hearts for a quilt gift for Christmas. In between packing and getting ready for our move to Texas! One house closed, but the 2nd has not and of course that's

That is a beautiful quilt. I'm confused, if you purchase something you get the block for free?? Yet when I went to the site given, it's a BOM.

  • Re: using vintage fabric

Joan, I share your love for vintage fabrics and quilts. From what you have described, I would not try and take apart your hex's re-size them and then try and re sew your top. It sounds to me as though the fabric was too fragile and will basically fall apart. This happens with old fabrics. There are so many different 30's reproduction fabrics

  • Re-introduction Sorta

Well I originally signed up back in 2012 and life threw me a curve and I hadn't been on site since then. I am excited that life seems to be going back to normal and I can get back into the normal swing of things, which of course includes my love of fabrics and quilts. I am however, on the move. I will not longer we a Californian......gonna be Texan

  • Re: Error Problems

Thank you Judy. Maybe I'll try later with a different browser. I just toasted my XP puter and am using the new computer my daughter got me for Christmas! I hate it, don't like the touch screen, don't like that I can't find anything, dislike Windows 8 or whatever this is etc. LOL. I can't even get Facebook to load. I'm using IE

  • Error Problems

I tried to edit my profile, wanted to change my location (moved to Texas) and wanted to add my birthday. Got an error message. Tried again 30 minutes later and same error message.
