Thea, That quilt is stunning!!!!! She looks so beautiful wrapped in it. You can really tell she loves it. The second sister will be equally pleased with hers I am sure of it! Always feels good to give a gift that someone really appreciates and you know you have put your heart and soul into it. Quilton, Ramona

Is, Aches and pains do get one down. The older I get the more I have, especially after cleaning. So I tr to put that off as often as I can. LOL Applique is very difficult for me. I have done some on my home machine and only enough in an applique class to get me through it. We, too, are heading to Fla soon for a few weeks to play catch up on doctor appointments

Is, Don't you know that sewing will cure all that? LOL I have had a mentally straining few weeks. Between quilting, a couple of outings, getting my computer repaired and everything reloaded. Whew, I'm ready for a break. What have you been working on? I have not been on here much, as you know but I'm still interested in what others are doing

If you won't be using the factory edge of your batting, that will also need to have the top edge straight/square and mark the center. You

Judi, I'm sorry I didn't see the video but I typed in the search box... making a valentine wreath using a jelly roll and a whole list of videos came up. Maybe one of those is it. Sorry I can't help further.
