    I also would be interesting in getting input on sewing cabinets. Right now I am using an old kitchen table for my machine and a card catalog from an old library for storage. I like having all the room of the table and I like the storage. Not really sure what a real "sewing cabinet" would add.

    I've been quilting for about a year now. I've taken a couple of classes, watched some videos, and did some experimentation on my own. I already knew basic sewing because of my Grandmother's instructions as a kid so it was just a matter of learning a few other techniques and I was off. I buy fabric from local stores like Joannes and Hancocks

  • Dancing Witches Halloween Quilt

    This started with a kit from Clotilde that I got on sale last spring. My daughter found the border fabric on line and really loved it. So I incorporated it into the squares around the quilt and made the kit a bit larger by adding it as another border. She loved it.

    Well folks I am caught up through Step 6. No pictures posted yet because my camera is all packed ready to head to TN. A group of us quilting gals are headed for a week of sewing, shopping and fun. I can't wait!!!!
