I don't think it is a locust tree as these trees have a smooth truck and branches and the leaves are a different shape. At least, from the photos online that I saw of those tree.

I had just started quilting when I worked in the Library here. I thought a quilt for the new building would be a great idea. We decided to make to a Gilmer County themed quilt. Lots of blocks were made, some submitted by patrons and others in the community. We did a display in the display case of some of the better blocks. That is as far as it got.

Judy, a lady who was a patron at the library I worked at .when the Harry Potter books were so popular, wanted them banned as they were about "witchcraft" and would twist the minds of the local children. So, maybe, she is a Harry basher, and thought it not an appropriate quilt for the Library
