I have a friend that might be interested. Where do you have it stored? She lives in NM.

Terrypib, Not sure if you are near any quilters that have a long arm in their home? They may allow you to do a quilt on their machine to even see if you like the way you quilt on a long arm. I love it, used to be able to rent the long arm at our local quilt store in San Antonio. It was computerized, so I really didn't get to use it in a free motion

  • Re: Embroidery Groups in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Area

Karin, I also started embroidery a few years ago, because I I wanted to make labels for my quilts. I bought an embroidery machine on Craig's list, started learning how to make the labels and found out I really enjoyed this part. My husband bought me a much larger machine for my birthday, so decided to learn more techniques and how to do more with

Angele, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. No matter the age, our Mother's loss is very hard to bear. Our love, hugs and prayers are wrapping their arms around you during this time. May you get to the area quickly and without delays due to weather so you can be wrapped in your siblings arms. Enjoy talking of her memories and

  • Re: Round Robin

I'm enjoying reading about the process. I will pass on this one as we are planning a 6 week trip out of country to Thailand in April/May, so don't want to commit to something just before leaving and stressing out about it. I will probably do the next one

  • Round Robin

qcaRachel, I have read the instructions but I'm still not completely understanding how a round robin works. Are we able to subscribe to the group and watch the discussions and see how it works before committing to working on this? Just don't want to commit to doing this until I know I can fully commit and work on the quilt.
