I'm going to try to do this one. I should be able to do this one from stash. I have 2 BOM's going also, which I'm caught up on. Just finished a tossed 9-patch throw quilt for Hub for Anniv., which was a few weeks ago. I started it 2 days before our Anniv. and gave him the top minus borders and finished after that. It was the 2nd one I machine

This sounds good. A quickie quilt would be great right now. And it might be good to use for more gifts later on. I'm going to try to do this one. Didn't manage the last one. I did the one last fall. . .my first MQ, and it was lots of fun.

What great blocks, everyone. I hope to get my June ones done in the next day or two.

Bonita, I like your blocks. Love the colors. I think I could use a little more practice on the wonky log cabin, myself, but I think they are all pretty. I couldn't figure out which way to turn mine to look best. May still have to turn it some.

I accidentally ran across this group a while back. I had posted on the craftsy site but was glad to find it here. I haven't posted my blocks yet but "finally" took a picture of what I have so far and am posting it. I haven't made the 2nd hexy block yet, but am planning to take it to our cabin and it will be a great hand project to

Claudette, I really like your blocks. I really like your April, and your 2nd one is really neat. I haven't come up with any new idea for the 2nd one so not sure what I'll end up doing. I'm just starting work on the hexes for the first April block. It took a while to figure out the fabrics to use. I haven't taken pictures of all of mine

Kathy, I'm not sure how you are downloading it, but I clicked on "file" and then on "download". It brought up a menu at the bottom of the page. I clicked on "save as" and brought up the folder I wanted to save it in. I think I was sent to the google sign in first. Don't remember how I did that.

Those blocks are really pretty. And I love the snowflake.

My hub's grandmother made quilts with foundation piecing. She used a fabric to piece on and then put a backing on and tied them. I litterally "used up" a cotton quilt she gave us when we got married. I loved the weight and it was "the best" for putting on the ground. Now that I know how, I plan to make some for our grown children

Count me in. I really enjoyed the MQ5, which was the first one for me. Looking forward to trying the next one.
