  • What is the hardest part about quilting?

I'm getting ready to start my little window pane baby qulit. I'm new to quliting. I am thinking I'll just cut and sew blocks and strips just like anything else I do, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something. So tell me what the hardest part of quilting for you is. Also, what should I be aware of before I start? Any suggestions

I think I know where my manual is, but I'm curious why I would want to use a darning foot for free motion quilting. What is the advantage of a darning foot over my regular foot? thanks, Lisa

I really wish I new what all my attachments are for and how to use them. I get by pretty well without them but it sure would be nice to learn.
