  • Re: Paper Piecing Group General Discussion

That's ok. It was a great idea. I was looking forward to seeing what the pattern was for Hawaii. Thanks for working so hard on getting the first 4 states up. I'm a beginner paper piecer so it looked very challenging. But, it's a new year so I was up for it. Lily

Mine came today too. It was like it was Christmas in July. I loved ALL the fabrics. I'm excited to make something with them right away. Oh but what? Thank you everyone for picking such wonderful fabrics. I hope someday to visit each of these states. Thank you Kristie for doing a great job on hosting the swap. Lily

Got the PM with the tracking #. Can't wait to see the fabrics. Thanks for hosting the swap. You did a great job. Good luck on drying out your basement. Many years ago my husband and 2 of the kids went to a tennis tournament in Iowa. There was a thunderstorm and he was amazed at the amount of rain that came down. He enjoyed the trip and he said everyone

Got my fabric and washed it. Just need to press, cut, bag, and mail. Hope to mail it out on Tues. I try to avoid banks and post offices on Mondays. They seem extra crowded. BTW - is it cheaper to use the fixed rate envelopes? Looking forward to seeing the fabrics from the different states. Lily (aka Yuriko)

Hi Everyone, I finally finished Melissa's center and it's on its way to California. I sent her the tracking number via PM. I posted the lovely quilt you ALL helped to make. Take a look at the great job you did. I love the paper pieced stars that Melissa did. I can't believe this was the first time she paper pieced. They are simply beautiful

RR 4 Group 1 did a absolutely fantastic job. I LOVE my quilt! Melissa (Georgetown, CA) did row 1, Mikki (Idaho Falls, ID) did row 2, Zsofia (Pittsburgh, PA) did row 4, and KimSue (Beaukiss, TX) did row 4. This was challenging but definitely alot of fun.
