  • Birds of a Feather

The other day I found a picture in a real old magazine that was given to me when we were living in VA. At the time, I was only learning to quilt, so I read the articles and checked out the quilt pictures, but the rest did not interest me. It was one of those magazines that did not have instructions or patterns. They wanted you to purchase the kits.

  • Re: Sizing

Hi Cheri, I have been reading the posts, Lola is right. But is what i would do to make it easier, is add a sashing in between your blocks. Only need an inch. So cut 1 1/2 inch fabric strips. Hi, I use Steam A Seam II . The main reason is that it is very light, sticky on both sides. You can cut your applique out and place it on your material, I will hold. You can change you mind and keep moving it around till you find the right place you want it. Then press it in place. The Steam A Seam is not sticky and very easy to work with. If you check

I know the Lebanon Bologna all right, and the Seltzer's Sweet Bologna. Oh, I miss them. Did you try their Dried beef on Home Fries for Breakfast? I miss a lot of the foods from up there. Course, I make the rest. York is where my daughter lives. About 5 miles from where you got the Pfaltzgraff. Her son, my grandson, goes to Penn State University

Hay, Happy 4th to you also. We are down here in TN and yes.....it is hot! We just moved to this area and do not know anyone, so we plan on making hamburgers on the George Foreman, instead of the Grill and watching the neighbors fireworks. We do not know them, yet....but were told they put a lot off. So I plan on sitting on my porch and watching with
